What Holiday Planner processes and why.
This page describes the information the Holiday Planner application uses when generating travel itineraries. Review it before publishing and adjust it if your final deployment adds analytics, authentication, or other data processing that is not listed here.
Information you enter
The planner processes the trip information you submit, such as traveller counts, children ages, departure location, destination, travel dates, and free-form preferences. That data is used only to generate itinerary results and related travel suggestions.
Local browser storage
If you save itineraries in the app, those saved plans are stored in your own browser local storage on that device. They are not intended as a permanent backup and can be removed from the browser at any time.
Third-party services
Depending on configuration, itinerary generation may call external services such as Anthropic, OpenAI-compatible APIs, Google Maps Platform, and travel-affiliate partners. Those providers may process request data according to their own privacy terms.
Affiliate links
Accommodation recommendations may include affiliate-tracked links. When you follow one of those links, the partner site may receive tracking parameters so the referring site can be credited for eligible bookings.
